The device offers up to 25 hours of continuous music playback on half volume using wired earbuds, thanks to its 1250 mAh battery, delivering extended listening sessions without frequent recharging. Its compact, lightweight design—comparable to a deck of cards—makes it easily pocketable, while native support for a wide range of audio and video formats, including high‑definition 720p playback, ensures versatile media compatibility. Additionally, compatibility with the Rockbox open‑source firmware expands customization options for power users.
The device’s 64 g (2.26 oz) weight, while portable, may feel bulkier than slimmer, ultra‑light MP3 players. Battery life drops below the advertised 25 hours when the volume is turned up or video playback is used, limiting continuous use. Video support is capped at 720p and only a select range of file formats are natively recognized, so additional conversion may be required for full compatibility.
A solid, portable media player that delivers long playback times and broad format support, making it a reliable choice for on‑the‑go listening and occasional video use. It falls short for audiophiles or heavy video consumers, but fits well into daily commuting, fitness, and travel scenarios.
